The
HSA board has been redesigned to become an integral part of our new
digital radio kit. Developers can access the analog world from their
FPGA board with a simple interface to CEPD’s HSA (High Speed Analog
Digital Radio Board). This board connects directly to one of CEPD's
FPGA/PCI boards for direct FPGA control or stand alone operation
through ribbon cables to a custom digital interface. The 13bit A/D
converter's maximum sample rate is 210MSPS and the 14bit D/A
converters's maximum sample rate is 200MSPS. The board includes a
synthesizer, mixer, and an audio CODEC. The HSA is intended to aid the
development and test of Digital Radio applications in the range of
75MHz to 150MHz. A Digital Radio reference FPGA design example and full
documentation are included.
